New England Business Association Presents Navy SBIR/STTR Topics Workshop

December 3 @ 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

Have you ever wondered how your innovative ideas or capabilities, either technology or services, can be delivered to the Department of Defense? If so, come hear how you can get a share of the $350 million of non-dilutive funds invested every year by the U.S. Navy in innovative ideas. New England Business Association is hosting a Navy SBIR Topics Workshop to inform New England companies about the newly released SBIR solicitation. In support of this event, the U.S. Navy will be sending representatives from Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR).

The day’s agenda will include:

  • A review of each of the Naval Sea System Command’s and Naval Air Systems Command’s SBIR / STTR topics in the newly released Broad Agency Agreement
  • 1-on-1 matchmaking conversations with representatives from both Naval Commands

As a commitment to engaging more women, minorities and veterans in the SIBR Program, the Navy will return to Boston and debrief proposal evaluations with any of the attendees of this event who either have a woman Primary Investigator on their proposal or are from a Woman-Owned Small Business, Minority-Owned Small Business or Veteran-Owned Small Business.
