Boston – Scores of regional business representatives will join military and civilian leaders from the U.S. Army Natick Labs’ research and development community to explore potential business and partnership opportunities during Soldier Innovation Day 2016 at UMass/Lowell on Wednesday, May 11.
The day-long conference will feature presentations from the Natick Soldier Systems Center (NSSC), Natick Soldier Research, Development & Engineering Center (NSRDEC), and the U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine (USARIEM). Also speaking will be representatives from academia, state government and industry.
Soldier Innovation Day 2016 is organized by the NSRDEC and the National Defense Industrial Association’s New England Chapter. UMass/Lowell and MassDevelopment are its sponsors.
UMass/Lowell Chancellor Jacqueline Moloney and MassDevelopment CEO Marty Jones will greet attendees.
“This year’s conference is an expansion of last year’s very successful program,” said Paul Serotkin, NDIA/NE President. “It was a valuable experience for all attendees then. It will be even more so this year.”
