The National Defense Industrial Association’s New England Chapter (www.ndianewengland.org) has added two new members to its Board of Directors:
Anne Marie Dowd, Executive Vice President, Legislative and Defense Sector Initiatives, of MassDevelopment, which works with businesses, nonprofits, and local, state, and federal officials and agencies to strengthen the Massachusetts economy
Bob Kinder, Managing Director, Aerospace, Defense and Security Practice Leader of G2 Capital Advisors, a Boston-based firm providing C-level executive led financial advisory and advisory services to middle market institutional investors and companies.
Dowd also serves as a board member of the Association of Defense Communities and of Westmass, a regional not-for-profit real estate development organization. She is a graduate of Middlebury College and the University of Wisconsin Law School.
Kinder, a retired military officer with over 20 years of service in both the U.S. Air Force and Army special operations communities, has led some of the nation’s most elite counter-terrorism forces during combat operations in Panama, Iraq and Afghanistan. He has degrees from the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
“We are excited to have Anne Marie Dowd and Bob Kinder join the NDIA New England Chapter Board,” said Chapter President Paul Serotkin. “They bring new and unique experience sets to NDIA/NE as we continue to make the Chapter more valuable to our more than 2900 members.”
NDIA New England is the regional arm of the National Defense Industrial Association (www.ndia.org), the nation’s leading defense industry association in providing a forum for the exchange of information between industry and government on national security issues. It has been awarded the NDIA’s Model Chapter designation for 2014.
