Dr. Adam Fouse is a Principal Research Engineer and Vice President of Technical Operations at Aptima. He oversees a portfolio of basic and applied research and product development efforts with applications primarily within the Department of Defense. In addition to his organizational leadership, Adam has served as a principal investigator on numerous research projects focused on human-centered applications of artificial intelligence. Recent efforts have focused on development of approaches for the evaluation of human-AI teams, development of agents with teamwork skills, and the use of AI agents to support human analysts. Adam holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego, and a B.A. in Cognitive Science and Computer Science from Brown University.
