Virtual Martini / Mocktini Lunch Following the NDIA Cyber & CMMC Implementation Webinar

December 11 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Presented by NDIA New England

Sponsored by McCarter & English, Steel Root, DGC and UMass Lowell Research Institute

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, NDIA New England will unfortunately not be having its popular annual DoD cybersecurity compliance event this year. As an alternative, we will be hosting a series of virtual cocktail and lunch hours following each of the four upcoming NDIA Cybersecurity and CMMC Implementation Webinars. Each of our virtual cocktail and lunch hours will feature nationally recognized legal and technical experts from McCarter & English, Steel Root, DGC and UMass Lowell Research Institute. Our experts Ryan Heidorn, Nick DeLena, Dan Kelly and Alex Major will provide their take on the updates provided by Government officials in the webinars and give practical advice on implementation and compliance with the most recent rules. This is your opportunity to get your questions answered on this dynamic and important topic. There is no cost to attend and all are welcome. NDIA New England looks forward to raising a glass with you and talking cyber! Please join us!

NDIA Cybersecurity and CMMC Implementation Tabletop Series Webinar 2: Pre-Award Process

December 11, 2020 10:00 – 11:30 am EDT

With the introduction of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program, contractors must ensure that their systems are in compliance with all requirements of the applicable CMMC cybersecurity level. Through a series of 90-minute tabletop exercises, we will follow a fictional company as it navigates the CMMC certification process and its compliance with the FAR and DFARS requirements for flow down, reporting, investigation, and mitigation. Our second tabletop exercise will focus on the contractor’s path to award and contract performance. To facilitate the discussion, we will include panel members from the CMMC Advisory Board, DoD and GSA government procurement and information security, as well as large and small prime and subcontractor representatives from the Defense Industrial Base. During the tabletop exercise, attendees will participate in the scenario through polling and will have the opportunity to raise questions about implementation.

Secure your complimentary registration to ensure your attendance of this series’ Webinar 2: Pre-Award Process on December 11, 2020, from 10:00 – 11:30 am EST. This is the second webinar in our new four-part Cybersecurity and CMMC Implementation Tabletop Series.

About the Tabletop Series
This four-part webinar series is exclusively available to NDIA members and covers the impacts that FAR 52.204-21 and DFARS 252.204-7012 have had on future contractors who will no longer be able to receive contract awards based on their POAM for compliance with regard to cybersecurity standards. Rather, they must be specially certified to be considered in compliance.
You won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn key and timely information about CMMC and its implementation from industry and government subject matter experts.
