Sandy is the Principal Contracts Administrator, and Government Property Manager at Aptima, Inc., a Massachusetts-based small business, human factors research and development contractor specializing in how humans learn, train and work in the age of AI.
With 20 years of experience in Contract Management and related education, Sandy effectively develops pricing for cost proposals and successfully negotiates Federal Contracts and Subcontracts while applying contract and regulatory compliance for Aptima’s organization. Additionally, Sandy coordinates and maintains the reporting of SBIR/STTR Commercialization history for Aptima as well as manages Aptima’s government property process, tracking, coordinating equipment tagging, disposal, and preparation of DCMA property audit materials.
Prior to working in the government contracting industry, Sandy worked in the commercial realm in financial investments at Fidelity Investments, and for the litigation firm, Mintz, Levin, Cohen, Ferris, Glovsky, and Popeo, both located in Boston, MA. Outside interests include support for military veterans, music, dancing, laughing, and everything creative. Sandy received a Bachelor of Science degree from Bridgewater State College in Management Science with a concentration in Marketing. She is excited to be an Associate of NDIA and looks forward to building relationships with others in the Defense Industry.
