Troy Tumberlinson is currently serving as the Business Development Director at BTAS, Inc for the Northeast United States to include Maryland and Virginia. With a wealth of experience spanning various roles, he offers strategic direction and management for Air Force and Navy weapon system program management, logistics, and sustainment to include UAV/UAS systems and counter small UAS systems. Previously, Troy held positions including Project Manager/System Lead at BTAS, Inc., overseeing testing and training operations for the Air Force Counter small UAS test and training range. Troy has also served as a Senior Logistics Manager, where he led logistics operations for the Air Force Counter small UAS program office.
His career began with a distinguished service in the United States Air Force, where he held numerous leadership roles across a twenty-year career primarily focused on the sustainment of the E-3 AWACS, demonstrating expertise in logistics, sustainment, and aircraft systems management. His responsibilities included overseeing maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft systems, implementing improvement programs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
In addition to his professional experience, Troy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the same institution. He also possesses multiple Associate of Science degrees from the Community College of the Air Force, specializing in Avionics Maintenance Technology, Education and Training Management, and Instructor of Technology.
Troy is further distinguished by his certification as a Community College of the Air Force Instructor, Master Instructor, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
